Less than a month ago in St Petersburg ended International Calligraphic Exhibition. Now the Project team is busy preparing the exhibition in Moscow which is due to begin in less than two months.
Lately the walkers in Sokolniki hear the knocking of hammers and drills, that’s how we are preparing to the next stage of a Great Project. Armed with building devices members of organization committee themselves take part in equipping the pavilion to most waited exhibition “Mystery of world calligraphy” .

Today Sokolniki Entertainment and Recreation Park has welcomed the first in Russia Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy. Its opening is confined to the International Exhibition of Calligraphy which will be opened on September 17 in St. Petersburg. The exposition includes various exhibit items related to the art of lettering. The Among them are fine specimen of Slavonic and European lettering, Russian and foreign books on calligraphy, limited editions of rare manuscripts, writing utensils of the past and present, elegant Hebrew calligraphy.  The permanent exposition will include over 80 well-designed calligraphic art works by the visual artists from Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Germany, France, Israel, Syria, USA, Japan, China and masters’ apprentices.
