The museum was being built from 1875 to 1881 under the supervision of architect Vladimir Sherwood. The walls of the Historical museum are made of red brick just like the walls of the Kremlin. The Museum’s towers resemble those of Kremlin. The halls were decorated by the foremost architects.
The choir often performs at the Smolny Cathedral, St. Isaac Cathedral, Sampsonievsky Cathedral, Church of Savior-upon-Blood, the Philharmonic and Chapel Halls, and takes part in a plethora of festivals, including the All-Russian Choir Assemblies and Easter Festival. The Chamber Choir of the Smolny Cathedral is a modern musical company. Its vocal manner combines European delicacy and voice-leading graphics and traditional Russian intensive tonal quality.

The State Historical Museum is the largest historical museum of Russia. Its numerous exhibitions range from the pre-historic to present-day Russia.

This archive is located in Moscow. 
Matenadaran is the Armenian research and development centre in Yerevan, which is one of the largest world manuscript storages. In particular, Matenadaran has one of the largest collections of Old Armenian manuscripts.
The Terem-Quartet is a unique group which has improved the performance of traditional Russian folk music and which is now has a national endowment. The group does not belong to any of the existing musical trends or genres. Musical experts call it a 'terem-style', which has added fresh sound and new aesthetics to traditional genres.
