First of all, I would like to thank the organizers for the invitation. To tell you the truth I haven’t been to such exhibitions for a long time, and I was impressed by all artworks exhibited here. In one word, they were just beautiful. All the pictures, images and drawings are peculiar national products. Thus, the paintings have the national spirit. We have just discussed a peculiarity of Mongolian writing where the letters are written from top downwards. In recent time calligraphy in Mongolia is being restored, and this art is becoming more popular with the youths. For instance, let us take this image of a word “wind”. See how the artist showed the character of the wind. Though the word is written, but there is a feeling as though the wind is drawn. And here is the word “sky”. Looking at it we can imagine the combination of letters as the sun, atmosphere, or universe. Calligraphy is the art of beautiful words and handwriting and the depiction of the environment. I want to thank you once again for the invitation and hope we will cooperate in future.
